Dr. Özlem Yilmaz Research Lab

Dr. Bowman is a periodontist dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Utah School of Dentistry in Salt Lake City before completing her periodontics residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Bowman completed her Master's of Science in Dentistry in the Dr. Yilmaz lab, and through her studies, Dr. Bowman was selected as a finalist for the AAP Balint-Orban Competition in 2025.

 

She enjoys all aspects of periodontology, from treating gum disease to placing implants, with a special appreciation for guided bone regeneration. Dr. Bowman is committed to providing patient-centered care, using the latest techniques to ensure the best outcomes in both function and aesthetics.

 

Outside of the office, she loves spending time outdoors with her dog and husband, tending to her plants, and traveling to new places.
